When you approach the city follow one of the several routes with signs pointing to the airport. The Airport is located on the Brackley Point Road, Route 15. Follow this road past the airport as it heads north toward Brackley Beach.
After 12-15 minute drive you enter the PEI National Park. At the toll booths you can tell them you are staying at Hopestan Acres Cottages. You only have to purchase a Park permit if you want to use the park facilities such as park on the beach etc. Just past the toll booths the park road turns to the right. Follow the Park road (the Gulf Shore Parkway) several minutes drive along the seashore. Shortly after you pass the harbour and the bridge there are cottages on the right hand side of the road. Our cottages are the first driveway.
Open early June till the end of September. Off season (less 50%) before June 28 and after Labour Day.

About Hopestan Acres
Lovely quiet two bedroom cottages on a 1.5 acre property inside the National Park facing the ocean. Located in Stanhope, P.E.I. we are just a short 15 minute drive from Charlottetown where you can purchase theater tickets for the Confederation Center of the Arts, visit one of the many historical and cultural sites, enjoy harness racing or experience fine dining at one of the many fine restaurants located in our capital city. Only a twenty minute drive to Cavendish where you can visit Green Gables National Historic Site.
Our Canada Select 3 star cottages feature pine board interiors, electric heat, Shaw satellite T.V. , DVD player and come fully equipped for your vacation stay. A washer and dryer on site with laundry soap provided. A crib and high chair are available.
